Our ECS for Humidification
Plants in Textile Industry is a versatile system being Cost Effective,
Rugged and Totally Maintenance Free. The PAY-BACK in most cases is less than
12 Months.
The entire system has been
developed by Pack Plast, keeping in mind the spray Water to Air Quantity
Ratio. In traditional system the Air to Water Ratio is 1:1, which is very
high. In certain most modern MNC installed air washer this has been observed
to be even higher. This leads to wastage of power.
Our exhaustive R&D work has
shown that this ratio is between 15:1 to 8:1. If we supply spray water of
these low discharges obliviously the pump power is reduced. Our HYBRI-DOME
Nozzles are maintenance free and have very long life. The orifice is of
special stainless steel leading to year of trouble free service. The
saturation efficiency is above 90% thereby leading to lower air quantities.
A case study for Ring Frame area (55% R/H) is given below for ready
reference.
The auto control system
switches off pump/fan as per department condition requirements. As all
designs are done for worst conditions, the auto control further saves
energy. Air quantity and spray load is calculated for peak demand
conditions. However there condition exist only for a period of 20-25 days in
a year of 365 days which means for 90% of year excess air and water quantity
is circulated.
The second major consideration
is system efficiency. In this case system efficiency (barring human errors)
is Air Washer efficiency. In a case study following results were observed:

From above it is easily
understood that huge air quantity wastage occurs for operation is narrow
range of 75 to 95%. Hence it is MUST THAT NO AIR WASHER OPERATES BELOW 90%
efficiency.
